Crowdfunding on SomeDayNow is designed to be personal and goal-oriented. By linking your campaign directly to your bucket list, you show donors exactly what dream they are helping you achieve.
A campaign on SomeDayNow must be attached to a specific "Dream."
Go to your Bucket List.
Select the item you want to fund (e.g., "Skydiving in Dubai" or "Learning to Sail").
Click the "Crowdfund This" button to initiate the campaign setup.
Funding Goal: Be specific. Break down the costs in your description (e.g., Flight: £400, Course: £600).
Deadline: Most successful campaigns run for 30–45 days. Short enough to create urgency, long enough to spread the word.
Wallet Check: Ensure your User Wallet is active so you can receive the donations immediately.
Donors give to people, not just projects.
The "Why": Why is this dream important to you?
Visuals: Upload a compelling cover image or a short "pitch video." Campaigns with videos raise significantly more than those without.
Impact: Explain what happens if you exceed your goal (e.g., "Extra funds will go toward a GoPro to document the journey").
Share Tokens: Use your unique shareable links and QR codes to post on social media.
Personal Network: Reach out to friends and family first. Seeing 5-10% funded makes strangers more likely to donate.
The Dream Loop: You can use your own wallet balance to "kickstart" your campaign, showing others that you are also personally invested in the goal.
