The SomedayNow Booking System is designed to bridge the gap between a Dreamer's campaign and your actual business operations. Understanding the lifecycle of a booking ensures you get paid promptly and your customers have a seamless experience.
Every booking follows a specific path to ensure financial security for both parties:
Request/Payment: The Dreamer selects a service and pays using their Tri-Wallet (often using funds raised through crowdfunding).
Escrow: Funds are immediately moved to a "Pending" state in your Partner Wallet. The money is guaranteed, but held securely until the service is delivered.
Confirmation: You receive a notification via the dashboard and email. You can then confirm the date and time with the Dreamer.
The Check-in: On the day of the event, the Dreamer "Checks-in" via GPS or by scanning your unique Partner QR Code.
Completion & Payout: Once the check-in is verified, the funds are released from escrow and move to your "Available" balance for withdrawal.
Every transaction generates a unique 11-character ID (e.g., BK9L2M5X7R1).
Verification: When a Dreamer arrives, ask for their Booking ID or digital receipt.
Admin Look-up: You can enter this code into your Partner Dashboard under the "Bookings" tab to see the customer’s name, the service purchased, and any special notes they included.
Don't let a Dreamer stay in limbo!
Response Time: Partners with a fast response time (under 24 hours) receive a "High Responsiveness" badge on their profile, which increases booking conversion.
Rescheduling: If a Dreamer needs to change their date, you can update the booking details directly in the portal. As long as the service isn't cancelled, the funds remain secured in escrow.
The No-Show Policy: If a Dreamer fails to arrive and does not cancel within your specified window, you can mark the booking as a "No-Show." Depending on your set policy, you may be entitled to claim a portion or the entirety of the escrowed funds to cover your lost time.
Refunds: If you need to cancel (e.g., due to weather or equipment failure), you can trigger a refund from the dashboard. The funds return instantly to the Dreamer's wallet so they can re-book for a later date.
Encourage the "Proof": Remind the Dreamer to take a photo for their "Check-in." Not only does this release your funds, but it also creates a public "Completed Dream" post that features your business.
Digital Handshakes: After the event, you can mark the booking as "Successfully Completed" from your side. This triggers an automatic request for the Dreamer to leave a review and share their story.
